Buena Mujer
Solo exhibition at Arc.Hive Artist Run Centre - 2018
Buena Mujer is an exploration of womanhood, identity, devotion, and mental illness in Latin American family culture. Through mediums traditionally considered “womens’ work”; this series delves into the multifaceted role of Latin American women as the keeper of stories and the emotional heart of the family; as well as the ways in which this role has shifted across generations.
